It is a good refrigerator the only reason I have it 3 stars is that both the ice Makers in the bottom freezer and the door had issues and had to contact warranty Dept. Which is always labor intensive.

The first LG refrigerator I had was replaced with a new refrigerator as the craft ice maker failed and they couldnt find anyone who could fix it so they gave me a new refrigerator. Just recently the replacement refrigerators craft ice maker also quit working. LG is sending a new craft ice maker that I have to replace myself. It seems that LG has a known issue with the craft ice makers but either doesnt know what to do about it or chooses not to address the issue. Either way I would never buy or recommend another LG product after my experiences.

Didnt honor warranty timely

It was great until it stopped working after a mere 4 ish years. Still under warranty but couldnt get them out to repair it or get the parts to my people. I was forced to buy something new. No more LG for me.

Sadly at five years old the compressor and unit went out so we lost the freezer. We had trouble getting the warranty people to work with our repair company. They also didnt show up the day they said they would and then couldnt find our phone # or confirmation #. After a two week wait we opted to just buy yet another one which isnt that what they want us to do?? as the repair out of pocket was as much or more than new. One can only live so long without a freezer. Sad because otherwise we really liked this unit.

Few bumps in the road.

I have owned mine for a little over a year. I have needed 2 repairs. 1 The compressor failed 2 My craft ice broke. That being said you might say thats not good and I would agree. I will tell you this though I would buy another LG in a heart beat because the service is unbeatable. I called for the compressor failure and they sent a technician out right away. He knew what he was doing arrived on time completed it and was out in a flash. The craft ice maker happened at just over the year mark. The fridge sent me a text saying it was broke and I received a call from the service centerand they scheduled a day within the week for the technician to repair it. He arrived on time had it replaced and working again In a flash. The moral of my story: It sucks when things break especially when they are expensive and new. What is hard to find is a company that will stand behind what they made and fix the problem no hassle. Kudos to my tech that executed his job with the precision of a skilled surgeon. Would I buy one again? Yes if not for the product alone I would for the service.

cheap doors and shelves

this is about my 10th purchase from lg. its a refrigerator. . the plastic parts in all lg products are cheaply made and break n about a year or so.this is no different. they now have very poor FOREIGN customer service. and no longer want to send out a tech for warranty repair. they sent me the wrong part. i called and they told me that they would send the right part out the same day. that was a month ago. it was never sent out i found out after calling to inquire

Dont Buy This Refrigerator

This is the worst refrigerator we have ever owned. Let us start with ice cube issues. The ice maker in the door didnt work when it was delivered a technician came out and replaced it. Well it kind of works it takes three 3 days to make enough ice to cover the bottom of a glass. The ice maker in the actual freezer makes round 2-inch ice balls it worked for about 10 months before it stopped working. Technician had to come out and replace that ice maker as well.

We got the fridge raider in January 2023 two months ago the ice balls stopped making and it started making loud noises I called for help and they did not help me since then no noise had no ice balls. I loved the ice balls so I am very sad that I am receiving no ice anymore and when I call for help I get none just three hours of sitting on the phone with someone and no answers

Great Refrigerator. Craft Ice did not work at all

My wife and I love the refrigerator. The shelves and layout are a great improvement over our prior LG model which we owned for 15 years. And the through the door water and ice is excellent. HOWEVER I chose this model because i was really looking forward to the Craft Ice Feature. It did not work even after 5 attempts to fix by trained technicians. This was disappointing.

I bought this unit in September of 2022. The delivery date was in late December due to back log. The moment i received it I fell in love with the features it offers and the room that it has. I already had the unit for over 6 months and it is still impressing me every day. I recommend it to everyone. Just make sure you have the opening or space big enough to fit.

Faulty craft ice maker

We love the refrigerator no real issues with it other than the craft ice maker. After 5 months it stopped working. I placed a service call and was told theres a known issue with this ice maker. Had it replaced not even a month ago and now it stopped working again. Dont know what the issue is but its annoying.

I am extremely pleased with my LG refrigerator We have an opening that doesnt allow us to use the standard 36 units and this unit fits perfectly without sacrificing interior space. As an added bonus the secondary ice maker in the freezer makes round ball craft ice witch we love. I highly recommend this refrigerator.
